UMSC Delivers Soccer In Schools Program to Nearly 600 Students at Greensborough PS
Unionville Milliken Soccer Club is proud to celebrate the successful delivery of its Soccer In Schools program at Greensborough Public School, reaching nearly 600 students across all grade levels in just one week.
Delivered in partnership with Vice-Principal Lesle McKay, and led by UMSC Coach Moses Kgasa, the program brought structured, high-energy soccer sessions directly into the school day—making the game accessible to every student, regardless of experience.
Over the course of the week, UMSC delivered 25 sessions, providing students with opportunities to stay active, develop fundamental skills, and experience the core values of teamwork, inclusion, and confidence-building through sport.
Programs like Soccer In Schools are a key part of UMSC’s commitment to growing the game at the grassroots level—creating early connections to soccer and supporting a pathway from school participation into community programming.
UMSC looks forward to continuing its partnership with local schools and expanding access to soccer across the Markham community.
