Ryan Henry Named 2025–2026 David Matthew Conforti Memorial Award Recipient

At the recent UMSC Soccer Day event, the UMSC High 5 Program proudly recognized Ryan Henry as the recipient of the 2025–2026 David Matthew Conforti Memorial Award.

Presented by Sergio and Louise Conforti in memory of their son David, the award celebrates the values that David believed soccer could help develop in young people — leadership, sportsmanship, personal growth, and compassion for others.

Ryan was selected for consistently demonstrating improvement throughout the indoor season, showing respect and sportsmanship toward teammates and opponents, and for his willingness to support and encourage others on and off the field. His positive attitude and leadership by example reflect the spirit of this meaningful award.
The David Matthew Conforti Memorial Award was created by David’s parents to honour their son’s passion for soccer and his belief that the game was about much more than competition. It recognizes players who embody strong character, teamwork, leadership, and a commitment to helping others grow through sport.
UMSC congratulates Ryan Henry on this well-deserved recognition and thanks the Conforti family for continuing to inspire young athletes through David’s legacy.
