Volunteer Coaches
Volunteers are highly welcome! Our
programs are volunteer-based so we need your help. Want to get involved
but worried that you’ve never played soccer before or have never
coached? No need to worry! Our technical staff at UMSC is here to help.
Prior to the start of the season, parents interested in coaching their
child’s team will be provided with an information session discussing the
rules, layout of the program and what is involved. Volunteer coaches are
also provided a coaching manual containing everything you need to run
the program such as fun activities and games to run through at practice,
game schedule, and refreshment list. A coach’s clinic is also offered.
At the end of the season coaches are also invited to the Coaches
Appreciation Banquet where we thank you for your efforts.
