Academy Tryouts

There
will be two tryouts taking place on the following days and venus:
Friday Oct 12th from 6pm to 8pm at St.
Monica catholic school in the Gym, enter on the west side. On
Calvert Rd. North
of
16th Ave east of Woodbine
Ave.
Sunday Oct 14th from 1.30pm to 3.30pm at
Ashton meadows park. North of
16th Ave on woodbine ave.
We will be playing in an indoor league in
the winter. Please ask all players to bring a photo for their book . We will
need it if the player is chosen. All players need to bring proper shoes
(indoor), for friday tryout. Shin pads and a Size 4 soccer ball.
UMSC U7 TO U12 ACADEMY
PROGRAM
The UMSC Academy is a superior training and skill development program run by
professional trainers and certified volunteers for U7 to U12 players who want
to advance beyond the House League Program. The Academy Program is designed to
enhance the overall training experience of the player. It also serves as an
introduction to competitive training, giving the players and their families a
glimpse of the dedication and commitment of the coaching staff at higher
levels of play.
In the U7 - U12 Academy
program, players are selected to the program through a tryout process. We
encourage all interested players to come out to the tryouts at the end of
March.
Academy Program Times:

Saturdays
10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Tuesdays
6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
·
Thursdays
6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Academy Program Includes:
- Four
tournaments
-
Two practices per week
-
League games with other clubs
-
Technical Clinics (Run by Filipe Bento and Sam Medeiros)

$325.00

COACHES
-
Academy coaches are selected from an interview with the Club Head Coach.

Academy coaches are selected for the proper age group from past
experience with the different stages of development.

Academy coaches will follow a coach’s manual that is set forward by the
Club Head Coach.

Academy coaches will follow the Club Head Coach Mythology which is coach
in S.S.Gs, over drills.
HOW DO I GET MY
SON OR DAUGHTER INVOLVED? |

If your son
or daughter has had a high player rating from previous house league
participation, they will be asked to come out to our tryout
·
By attending
our tryouts. Dates: Saturday, March 24th and 31st @
the UMSC Soccer Dome

You have been
training with a rep team and the coach has asked you to play in the Academy
