Create and experience a special bond between your child that will last a life time. Participate! Get involved! Be a part of the community!

It is difficult to describe the feeling you get when you hear your child say, "Thank You for Coaching My Soccer Team."  As they glow with gratitude and pride. Neither of you will ever forget it.

. We are looking for volunteer:

  • Coaches.
  • Assistant Coaches

I want to get a bit more serious: (Join our Academy Program U-7 to U-12)

The UMSC Academy is a superior training and skill development program run by professional trainers and certified volunteers for U7 to U12 players who want to advance beyond the House League Program. The Academy is split into two programs: the U7 program, which is a specialized program run once a week to introduce players to the fundamentals of soccer and to develop future Academy players and the U7 - U12 program, which is a highly developed, specialized program, which runs 3 times a week, that is geared towards fostering the continued skill development of advanced players.  In the U7 - U12 program, players are selected to the program through a tryout process.  We encourage all interested players to come out to the tryouts at the end of April.

All Academy Teams will participate in a minimum of 4 OSA sanction All Star/Select Tournaments.

All Academy Teams will play at least two exhibition games a month with other Academy Teams or U-MSC Competitive Teams.

Academy Trial-Out Dates are:

  • Saturday, March 24, 2007, 5pm to 6pm è U7 (2000) to U9 (1997)
  • Saturday, March 24, 2007, 7pm to 8pm è U10 (1998) to U12 (1995)
  • Saturday, March 31, 2007, 5pm to 6pm è U7 (2000) to U9 (1997)
  • Saturday, March 31, 2007, 7pm to 8pm è U10 (1998) to U12 (1995)

Academy Trial Out will take place at the U-MSC Soccer Dome

(SW Corner of 14th and Kennedy)

There will be a $5 Trial-Out Fee.

I want to play in Tournaments: (All Star Team for Ages 12 to 16)

During our “Team Placement Games”, our All Star Team Coaches will be observing for potential All Star Players to form All Star Team for Ages 12 to 16.

If your child is selected to participate in the All Star Team, the All Star Team Manager will contact you.

All Star players will remain in their assigned House League Team, but will be required to attend an extra practice once a week with their All Star Team. Practice time will be determined by each individual All Star Team’s Coaches and Managers.

All Star Teams will attend a minimum of 3 OSA Sanctioned All Star/Select Tournaments, as determined by the Team All Star Managers and Coaches.

There will be an extra $100.00 registration fee for All Star Players which will include the following:

  • 2 Extra All Star Jerseys

Sponsorships

The Unionville-Milliken Soccer Club appreciates your past sponsorship of our soccer programs. Through your generous support, and the dedication of our volunteers, we continue to offer high quality and diversified soccer programs to our community at an affordable fee. In 2006 our Outdoor Program grew by ten percent. UMSC soccer programs provide an excellent opportunity for youth to engage in a sport that provides

physical activity and teaches them to play as a team. Sponsorship support at the community club level is a key factor in attracting, developing and retaining local coaching and player talent. Many UMSC players progress from our House League Program to play competitive soccer at the highest levels in York Region, Provincially and Nationally.

If you are interested in becoming a Sponsor, please contact our Director of Sponsorship ==> Bill Bachra @ sponsor@u-msc.com or Visit our Sponsors WEB page.
