Congratulations to the BU13 All Star team! The Lake Simcoe Tournament on July 25/26 was close to the finish - the UMSC team persevered to win. For more details see the All Star page.

UMSC U14 Boys All Star Team wins Oshawa All Star Tournament

Congratulations to the UMSC BU14 All Star team on winning the Oshawa All Star Tournament on August 9th.

They defeated Darlington in the final 4 to 2. For more information please see the All Star page.

Strikers U9 Boys Red Win Brossard Challenge Cup!

Congratulations to the UMSC BU9 Red who travelled to Brossard, Quebec to take part in the Tournament between July 31 and August 2.
The boys displayed excellent passing and ball control, outplaying and outscoring their opponents. The Strikers defeated Oak Ridges 8-3 in the semi final and clinched the cup by defeating Panellinios 7-1 in the final.
The boys displayed great sportsmanship and we are very proud of the team. GO STRIKERS GO!

Strikers U13 Boys White Win Ambassador Cup!

Congratulations to the UMSC U13 White Strikers for capturing the Ambassador Cup on July 27 in Kingston.
The Strikers defeated OSU Power 3-2, lost to Stoney Creek 1-0 and defeated Pegasus 2-0 in the preliminary round. The Strikers then defeated Whitby 4-0 in the Semi Final and went on to capture the cup by defeating Stoney Creek 3-1 in the Championship match.
The Strikers displayed a strength in character in the Championship game having no substitutes on the bench due to injuries. Well done Strikers!

Strikers U8 Boys White Wins Frank Sobil Spring Classic!

Congratulations to the Strikers U8 Boys White team for winning the Frank Sobil Spring Classic Tournament in Oshawa.

The Tournament was held on May 9^th & 10^th and it was a great effort by all boys this weekend. The U8 UMSC WHITE defeated Whitby Iroquois A 2-1, Markham Lightning Black 1-0 and North Toronto Nitros 2 -1.

UMSC WHITE finished off the tournament with a 2-0 win over Ajax in the final in the first outdoor tournament for 2009. contactus@umscstrikers2001.com

U17 Girls Win Ontario Indoor Cup!

Congratulations to the UMSC U17 Red Strikers for capturing the Ontario Indoor Cup last weekend.
The Strikers defeated Sudbury 3-0, Kanata 4-0 and tied Glen Shields 0-0 in the group games. In the semi final game, the Strikers defeated Richmond Hill 5-0 and then went on to capture the cup by defeating Erin Mills 2-0 in the final game. Well done Strikers!
